TRI-STATE AREA -- Scattered flurries will fall in the Tri-States over the weekend, and high temperatures will be in the 20s on Saturday and Sunday. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, an area of snow and rain will develop and move through the Tri-State region. We will keep you advised of the latest details on this event on KHQA-TV 7 and on this website. Temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s on Monday and precipitation amounts should be relatively light in most cases, so this storm is not likely to have as significant an impact as some of our previous winter storms this season. Following Monday night, temperatures will quickly turn very chilly. Highs by late next week are apt to be in the teens, and lows may dip into the single digits above and below 0.
