TRI-STATE AREA -- Coming off another weekend with unseasonably mild high temperatures in the middle 80s – it may be difficult to endure some of the more seasonably cooler temperatures in store for later this week. The sun will shine brightly on Tuesday and Wednesday, and in addition, temperatures early in the week will still be just fine. We’ll make it into the middle to upper 60s on Tuesday and close to 70 for Wednesday. Chances for rain and a few thunderstorms will carry us from Thursday all the way into Friday night, and I’m already busy trying to determine our threat of severe weather and heavy rainfall from this next weather maker. I’ll keep you posted on these issues throughout the week on KHQA-TV. Temperatures from Friday through Sunday will likely be quite chilly. Highs will be in the 40s to lower 50s and lows will be in the 30s – yikes!
