During a time when it seems the cost of just about everything is going up, students at Culver Stockton College have something to be happy about. They won't see an increase in their tuition, at least for another year. That was the decision made at last week's fall board meeting. Trustees voted to freeze tuition at $22,250.

An area college has a plan to help displaced workers better themselves...and ultimately economic development.The college has received an $805,000 U.S. Department of Labor grant to create a regional manufacturing training center.
John Wood trustees also recently approved a plan to offer deferred tuition to displaced workers.
