Monday, August 09, 2010  Insurance agencies say June 20 was merely a flash flood. If home and business owners did not specify flash flood or surface water in their policies, insurance will not cover the damage. There's one contributing facrtor that has residents even more upset.

Tuesday, July 13, 2010  After the floods of 2008, the Illinois Finance Authority created a relief plan, in the form of bonds, for affected businesses. The I.F.A. expanded the plan last year allowing anyone within a county that suffered from floods to receive the funds.
