The official homecoming: Since Daniel Bowe arrived home in the middle of the night, the Patriot Guard will present an official homecoming celebration Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. That celebration will take place at the Bowe home at 30th and Wind Rush, which is off of 30th and Harrison.

Wounded Palmyra soldier returns home

Out of the many Veterans Day parades going on across the Tri-States this weekend, the longest by far welcomed home a local Palmyra solider. Saturday, Specialist Brett Neisen returned home after spending two months at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D.C. During that time, he recovered from a sniper wound he received in Afghanistan back in August.
