  • Two men killed in plane crash identified

    Thursday, August 30, 2012  John R. Johnson, 74, of Carbondale, and Carl S. Maiden, 47, of DuQuoin, Ill. died late Wednesday as they were flying to an antique air show in Iowa, Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish confirmed Thursday morning.

  • Two confirmed dead in Lewis County plane crash

    Thursday, August 30, 2012  Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish has confirmed that two people lost their lives in a plane crash Wednesday night near LaGrange, Missouri.  The first call came in at 8:20PM to the Lewis County 911 office.  The names of the victims are not being released pending notification of family.
