Thursday, September 01, 2011  With your help, Kirlin's Hallmark and Operation Support our Troops are hoping to give thousands of soldiers a magical Christmas gift. It's a storybook that that allows each soldier to personally record his or her own voice reading a story, one that will be heard thousands of miles away by families back home.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010  Kirlin's Hallmark almost made it's goal of collecting 5,000 storybooks for our soldiers last month. With help from the Adams County Red Cross, volunteers packed and labeled 400 boxes full of the "Night Before Christmas" this evening at Kirlin's Wharehouse in Quincy. In the next week, they'll be shipped overseas to soldiers in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran along with military hospitals in Germany. Some of these storybooks will reach our overseas unit from Macomb.

Tuesday, August 17, 2010  Kirlin's Hallmark stores are collecting recordable storybooks to send to members of the military stationed overseas. Once they record these stories in their own voice, they'll send them home for their kids to listen to.
