Recently, a social-networking genealogy Website, called GeneTree asked KHQA to participate in a DNA study. Brooke Hasch and Chad Douglas accepted the challenge.

A local teacher found herself at the head of the class on Thursday.Mrs. Sara Ramsey teaches junior high science and social studies at Southeastern Jr./Sr. High School. KHQA's Rajah Maples visited her classroom after surprising her with this month's KHQA Excellent Educator award. Mrs. Sara Ramsey has taught for give years in the Southeastern School District. She started out teaching third grade but eventually found her calling teaching junior high science and social studies.
