Allegations of voter registration fraud surface in Kansas City

HANNIBAL, MO -- Much like eight years ago, allegations of voter registration fraud have already begun to surface.  Kansas City election officials report receiving hundreds of questionable or fraudulent voter cards most sent in by ACORN.

That's a group that works to encourage people to register to vote. We asked Missouri Secretary of State, Robin Carnahan about this issue. Here's what she had to say.

" I'm glad that these election officials in Kansas City found those suspects and kept them off the voter rolls. That's the appropriate thing to do," said Secretary Carnahan.

The Secretary of State's office says they are working with Kansas City election officials to clean up voter rolls.
