Car accident blocking road

If you travel US Highway 24 in Western Illinois, you may have to find a different way home.

The Illinois State Police tell us a car accident has closed part of the road between Rushville and Astoria because of a car accident.

The highway should be reopened to traffic by 5:00 pm Friday.
