Car collides with semi-truck

An Astoria woman died this morning after a collision with a semi-truck.
27 year old Magen Jocis was killed in the accident shortly before noon on US 24 about five miles east of Ray Road in Schuyler County, Illinois.
The 1999 Ford and the semi were headed west when they collided.
The accident ended against the north guard rail in the west bound lanes.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the semi was not injured.
No arrests have been made but an investigation is pending.
