LEWIS COUNTY,Missouri - The Lewis County Missouri man accused of killing his wife and son is headed to trial after a judge rules there's enough evidence to continue the case.

During a preliminary hearing, testimony from the Lewis County Chief Deputy Sheriff and the Lewis County Coroner showed that Christopher Piersee thought he was Michael the archangel and that his wife was Lucifer and that his son was the anti christ.

This is allegedly what precipitated the attack.

Autopsy results showed Trish Piersee died from gunshot wounds and that young son was beaten to death.

Piersee is due back in court on May 9, 2009.

He's charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of armed criminal action
