PIKE CO., IL -- The jury trial of an Ameren C-I-P-S worker accused of animal cruelty has been moved again.
Lori Kellum is accused of beating and killing a cocker spaniel dog owned by a Kinderhook resident during her rounds a year ago this month.
A jury trial has been postponed several times since then, mostly at the request of Kellum's attorney.
The latest was supposed to have begun this Monday, July 13th.
KHQA spoke with States Attorney Frank McCartney's office Tuesday afternoon.
A worker from that office told KHQA the jury trial is now scheduled for November 2nd.
