Funeral services scheduled for Thursday

Monroe City, Mo.-- Monroe City mourns the loss of one of its own.Robert Homer Smith died at his home Monday. Smith and his wife Hazel used to own the Edina Sentinel, The LaBelle Star, Star Printing in Kahoka, and were former partners at A and S Printing in Monroe City.
Smith currently served as the Economic Development Coordinator for Wayland. The funeral will be held Thursday, August, 6th at 1pm at the Garner Funeral Home.
