FORT MADISON, IA -- The following is a press release from the Lee County Health Department:

Lee County Health Department has scheduled a H1N1 clinic on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.

The clinic is scheduled to administer H1N1 vaccines/nasal mist to the following high risk priority groups as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC):

  • Pregnant Women
  • Persons living with or providing care for infants less than six months of age
  • Children ages 6 months of age through age 24
  • Health care workers and emergency services personnel
  • Persons age 25-64 years who have a medical condition that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications (such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, etc.) or are immuno-suppressed.

The clinic will be held at Fort Madison High School (Room 202) and the address is 2001 Avenue B, Fort Madison, Iowa.

Vaccines will be offered on a first come, first served basis until we run out of vaccines or the clinic closes at 11:30 am.
