PLEASANT HILL, ILL. -- The economy may have businesses shutting their doors and people spending less, but it appears it hasn't done much to hunting.
That's what we found out when we stopped at the Hunt Pike Illinois Expo Wednesday.
This expo is considered to be the biggest show ever to be held at the Pike County Fairgrounds.
A spokesperson told KHQA vendors are not only coming from Pike County, but also from Missouri and Iowa.
Since the economy has taken a turn for the worse, have you been seeing less hunters from around the country?
"There have been a few less hunters, but for the most part, hunting in general here has been so good. And Pike County being world reknowned for hunters and hunting, the ones that come here year after year keep coming back," said Hunt Pike Illinois Spokesperson David Colwell.
The Hunt Pike Illinois Expo will run through Sunday, November 22 at the Pike County Fairgrounds in Pleasant Hill.
