QUINCY, ILL. -- (Quincy, Ill.) We all know that charities are having a hard time keeping up with demand in these tough times.
Well here is an extra incentive for people to make donations: You could win a car!
Gem City Ford is kicking off the holiday season with its second food and toy drive.
It has teamed up with the Salvation Army, Toys for Tots and the American Red Cross to be a drop off point for any holiday donations.
It will accept food, toys and monetary donations.
"I think it's of great importance that people get involved in helping out the people especially during this season. You want everybody to be merry and happy and that's what we're after," said Gem City Ford General Manager Butch Gail.
Anybody who makes a donation at Gem City Ford can register to win the free car.
Even the smallest donations will be allowed to enter to win.
The donation drive will end on December 19th.
