Hannibal mansion up for sale again

HANNIBAL, MO. -- It appears that the efforts to sell Rockcliffe Mansion in Hannibal are back to square one.
A bankruptcy trustee had accepted the $710 thousand bid from James and Robin Gillette of Florida.
But the Gillettes missed Thursday's deadline to complete a house inspection, and the trustee refused to give them an extension.
Now the trustee has told Ken and Lisa Marks of Maplewood, Missouri in the St. Louis area to send him the money if they're still interested in buying Rockcliffe.
The Marks have been leasing the mansion, and the trustee has offered to extend that lease through December.
