PARIS, MO. -- Lucas Summers has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, burglary and second-degree assault.
The Macon County man murdered Jerome Herrin in a confrontation in March of 2009 outside of Paris, Missouri.
The Hannibal Courier Post reports Summers had also faced stiffer charges of second-degree murder and first-degree assault.
Summers faces 29 years in prison when he's sentenced next month.
Three other suspects are scheduled for trial on lesser charges in the case.
