Quincy takes on new Ameren proposals : News : ConnectTriStates.com

The city of Quincy's finance committee will take a proposal for a 10-year franchise agreement renewal with Ameren Illinois to the full Council next Monday. The city is coming off of a 50-year franchise agreement that expired in September. Director of Administrative Services Gary Sparks said they've been in negotiations with the utility company now for several months.
