QUINCY, IL -- The two candidates for Quincy's mayoral race faced off on a number of issues Thursday evening.

Dozens packed the First Christian Church in Quincy for a League of Women Voters debate.

Democratic Incumbent John Spring and Republican challenger Dave Bellis answered a number of questions from panelists and the audience, ranging from how to keep the city's economy strong to improving race relations.

KHQA Executive News Director Carol Sowers served as a panelist.
