Cochester, III -- While Nauvoo's Grape Festival may be the oldest in Illinois...Colchester Labor Day looks to be the biggest event in the state.
What once started out as a Miners picnic in 1867, has tuned into a huge Labor Day Event.
The small town of about 1500 people nearly double, possibly tripled in population this weekend.
You could fined a little bit of everything in Colchester.
From crafts, antiques, odds and ends, and of course tons of yards sales.
Plus don't forget the food.
Year after year venders continue to mark Labor Day weekend on their calendars and set up shop in Colchester for several days.
