(Clark Co., Mo.) Hundreds of mules were marching all over Clark County September 18th-20th.
People came from all over the United States for the 24th annual Clark County Mule Fest near Kahoka, Missouri.
It was three days of events for mules only.
KHQA was on hand for the pantyhose race and the mule pull, as mules tried to pull as much weight as possible, sometimes almost double their weight.
The fest also had several vendors and a flea market.
We spoke with a woman who has been a clown at this fest for 14 years and has become somewhat of a celebrity.
She said people have came from as far as California and Florida and even a few from Canada to be on hand for one of the largest mule fests in the country.
But she told us it doesn't matter who you are, this weekend is all about fun.
"It's much of a family event, everybody is here with small children. The youngest child that has ridden out in the arena is 6 months old. The oldest person, to my knowledge, that has ridden has been 80 years old. So it doesnt depend on your age or your size or your sex, it's just if you want to have fun," said Myrtle Mae.
The Clark County Mule Fest is held every year on the first full week in September.
