H1N1 case reported in Monroe County

A case of the H1N1 flu virus has been reported in Monroe County.

No details have been released, but the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services confirmed the Monroe County case had been diagnosed.

There have been two cases in Macon County and seven in Audrain County of Northeast Missouri. A spokesman for the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services says the first shipments of H1N1 vaccine should be sent this week, with delivery and vaccinations beginning within 10 days.
