MONROE COUNTY, MO -- Trial dates have been set for two Monroe County assault suspects.

Donald Fuller III of Clarence will be tried March 25 and Charles E. Webb will go before a jury on April 8.

Both trials will be in Ralls County on a change of venue.

The two men have pleaded not guilty to felony second-degree assault in the March 21 beatings of two men near Paris.

One of the victims, 23-year-old Jerome D. Herrin of Madison, died.

Two other suspects, Michael Flowers and Lucas Summers of Macon, have pleaded not guilty.

Witnesses previously have testified that Summers, Webb, Fuller and Flowers were among the five men and one woman who drove from Clarence to Paris on March 21 after a telephone war of words with Herrin.
