SCHUYLER CO., ILL. -- KHQA has been getting comments and questions about an accident in Schuyler County, Illinois in early October.
Initial reports said Ryan Jones, age 22, was driving west in the early morning hours on October 3 when his vehicle ran off the road and rolled.
He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
After getting some questions both via e-mail and here on www.connecttristates.com, KHQA called Schuyler County Sheriff Don Schieferdecker.
He said that Jones' family questions whether Jones was the only person in the vehicle, and if Jones was driving.
The Illinois State Police are investigating.
Officers are reconstructing the accident, doing crime scene work on the vehicle and conducting interviews, but are not releasing any more information at this time.
Results of that investigation aren't expected for 2-3 weeks.
