QUINCY, ILL. -- Almost six-million people in the United States have been infected so far with the H1N1 virus, with at least 1,300 deaths.
The H1N1 virus has hit theTri-States pretty hard... many of you still have questions unanswered questions.
The Adams County Health Deparment has received a shipment of the H1N1 flu vaccine.
The Department will be distributing this vaccine from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Oakley Lindsey Center, at 300 Civic Center Plaza in Quincy, Illinois.
Participants may enter the main lobby and will be directed to McClain Hall for vaccinations.
There is no charge for the vaccine.
There will be injectable and inhalable vaccine at the November 5th clinic.
37-hundred doses both the Flu shot and the nasal mist arrived in the latest shipment.
The 24 hour Adams County Flu Hotline is still up and running and averages about 90 calls a day.
