CLAYTON, IL -- Here's a quick note for residents in Clayton. The Village of Clayton and Adams County Emergency Management will test the new outdoor warning siren system Friday.

It will be activated at 9:45 a.m. and sound for about a minute.

The village recently installed the system.

The final test will ensure that it's fully functional. In the case of severe weather, the test will be postponed.
