HANNIBAL, MO. -- The following is a press release from the Hannibal Board of Public Works:

The Hannibal Board of Public Works is pleased to announce the selection of Robert Stevenson as the new General Manager for the utility.

He succeeds Don Willis who will be retiring the first of the year.

Mr. Stevenson was born and raised in the Kansas City area, but both parents were raised in Marion County.  He currently resides in Billings, MO and will make the move to Hannibal in the near future.

He is registered professional engineer with over 15 years of previous utility experience, having served as Director of Utilities for New Ulm Public Utilities in Minnesota, Director of Operations for Trigen Energy Corporation in Kansas City, MO and Production Planning Engineer for the City of Independence, MO.

Mr. Stevenson will assume his duties as General Manager of the Hannibal Board of Public Works on November 30th.
