Hannibal, MO -- The Hannibal Arts Council is taking a trip back in time into the history of America's Home Town during its current exhibit..."Hannibal as History: A Photographic Exhibition."

Saturday was the second of three free programs spot lighting Hannibal's past and historic preservation.

Today's presenter was Esley Hamilton, preservation historian for the St. Louis County Department of Parks and researcher for the Hannibal Art History Exhibit.

Each program offers an opportunity to view the exhibit, in which Hannibal's story is told in a series of 30 panels.

Each panel contains numerous photos, narratives and sketches, depicting the town from its beginning to the turn of the 20th century.

The third and final program will be next Saturday February 13th at 3 p.m

Presenters include a local historian and photo collector, and a railroad historian
