Suspect arrested in Burlington bank robbery

BURLINGTON, IOWA -- A suspect has been arrested for the robbery of a Burlington bank last week.

Darryl Jackson Jr. is charged with 1st degree Robbery for the crime.

An anonymous crime stoppers tip helped investigators track down Jackson and the vehicle he used in the getaway.

Police also found other evidence that supports the contention that Jackson was the robber.

He was arrested on Saturday in Bloomington, Illinois.

He is being held on a $500,000 dollar bond, waiting to be extradited back to Iowa.

Burlington police are also look at other possible suspects in the robbery and more arrests may be coming in this case.
