QUINCY, ILL. -- A partnership between two Quincy businessmen will turn an old downtown movie theater into a new sports bar and restaurant.

Danny Griffin and Noi Sonethongkham bought the old Adams Cinema at 6th and Hampshire.

They plan to gut most of the building and turn it into a place geared toward families and sports-minded customers.

It should open September first with a restaurant, sports bar and lounge catering to martini and wine drinkers.

And more business coming to downtown Quincy... a martini bar is moving into the old Roderick P. Miller clothing store in the 500 block of Maine Street.
