PITTSFIELD, ILL. -- The following is a press release from Studio on the Square of Pittsfield:
Studio on the Square is honored to announce this month’s Featured Artist, Kari Douma.
Kari Douma’s passion for photography was first inspired by her children and her desire to capture the fleeting moments of their childhood. Years later she has developed that passion into a distinctive craft through her discriminating eye and commitment to excellence.
Kari is currently pursuing her Masters of Photography degree and serves on the Board of Directors for the Professional Photographers of Western Michigan. She has been named “Photographer of the Year” by the Professional Photographers of Western Michigan in 2008 and 2009.
Everyone is invited to view Kari’s photography at Studio on the Square during our Gallery hours, Mondays and Tuesdays 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
