QUINCY, ILL. -- Drunk driving crashes are down nationwide, according to Mother's Against Drunk Driving, or MADD.

KHQA spoke with J.T. Dozier Wednesday afternoon for his opinion on the Courtesy Rides situation.

He's a member of the local MADD chapter.

He says he likes the idea of the service of keeping people who've had too much to drink off the highways.

"We hope that sometime soon Courtesy Rides or some other organization can come together and provide the service to get people home safe and alive," says Dozier.

Dozier adds he supports the organization as long as it follows the law.
