HANNIBAL, MO. -- The North East Community Action Corporation has served thousands of people in need in Northeast Missouri for 45 years. Now, it's more accessible by combining its two locations into one. NECAC is now located on 3518 Palmyra Road (Highway W.) in Hannibal.

The program director for the Family Planning Clinic told KHQA the two services will provide all the same programs with the same amount of privacy.

"We're able to do cancer screenings, sexually transmitted disease testing, pregnancy testing. A wide variety of birth control services. On the other side of the building are the social services suck as energy assistance, in-home service, weatherization, a multitude of programs," said Claudia Buckman.

An official ribbon cutting and open house for the new building is scheduled for next Thursday, September 9.  The event should last from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
