HANNIBAL, MO. -- The next phase of renovation for the Admiral Coontz Armory is about to wrap up.

Crews are finishing up their work replacing the roof.

That should be done within the week.

Reconstruction of the bathrooms happened over the summer.

After the roof is done, work on the inside will pick up.

"We're looking at redoing the inside of the ceiling, replacing all the ceiling tiles and going back to the original structure. We're going to do a complete new lighting system, new security system," says Andy Dorian.

Other projects include repainting the gymnasium floor and expanding the boxing room upstairs.
