QUINCY, ILL. -- A local Quincy woman made her debut on CBS Sunday morning.

In an interview with Katie Couric, Connie Phillips was one of several people who described a shared-death experience they've encountered as a loved one passed away.

With Connie, it was with her mother.

"She would have these experiences where she would say, 'I'm leaving, I'm going, I'm floating out the window.' And when she said that, this actually began happening to me. I was in this awareness with her that we were floating out the window. It was the strangest experience I've ever had," said Connie Phillips.

Katie Couric spoke to researchers who believe someday, people will be able to know what's on the other side, before they get there.
