QUINCY, ILL. -- A 16-year-old Quincy High School student is in trouble with the law after allegedly getting violent at school and beyond.

Quincy police say the girl was fighting with another student today.

When a QHS staff member tried to separate the two, the girl bit the staff member in the arm.

Police arrested her and took her to the Adams County Detention Center. During processing, officers say she then assaulted two correctional officers.
