QUINCY, ILL. -- Santa is usually very busy this time of the year, but he made some time to come to Central Fire Station in Quincy Friday evening.

He traded his sleigh and reindeer for a fire truck to turn the Christmas lights on at Central Fire Station.

After that kids sat on his lap and told him what they wanted for Christmas.

The Salvation Army band played Christmas tunes as people enjoyed Christmas cookies.

Firefighters also gave families rides around the block in their fire trucks.
