COLUMBUS, OHIO -- A homeless Ohio man whose silky announcing voice has catapulted him to national fame says he's done a commercial for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. And MSNBC reports he's accepted an offer from the network to do voiceover ads.

Ted Williams was left homeless after his life was ruined by drugs and alcohol. But the 53-year-old has been in demand since The Columbus Dispatch posted video of him demonstrating his voiceover skills on the side of a road earlier this week.

Williams appeared on NBC's "Today" show Thursday morning and has been offered jobs by the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and others.

He was reunited in a New York hotel room Thursday with his mother, who saw him for the first time in about 20 years and said "my prodigal son has finally come home."
