Two men in custody
QUINCY, ILL. -- Two Quincy men are in custody after burglarizing a Quincy business overnight Tuesday.
Anthony Gilker and Victor Owsley were arrested after police got a call about a burglary in progress at Buddies Bar and Grill at 601 Payson.
When police arrived the two suspects had taken off on foot from the scene.
A plate glass window to the business had been been broken and some undisclosed items had been taken.
Officers later located the suspects at a residence at 532 Payson and arrested them. Both men are charged with burglary.
Anthony Gilker had to be treated at Blessing Hospital for minor cuts before joining Victor Owsley behind bars.
