CARTHAGE, ILL. -- At 5:15 Wednesday morning KHQA  learned of evacutions in Carthage.

Emergency personel could not confirm these evacutions for us.

But we did hear from a resident on our KHQA Facebook page.

We have sent a reporter to the area who confirms that there is standing water everywhere in sight.

Check this story later and watch KHQA's News at Five, KHQA's Evening News at 6 p.m. and KHQA's Late News at 10 p.m. for all the latest information.

If you live in the Carthage area and have photos or video to share, we would love to see it ... upload it to our Facebook pageuConnect or email it to us at news7@khqa.com.
