Man charged in case of missing 3-year-old Missouri girl

SENATH, Mo. (KMOV)--- Police have charged a man in the case of missing 3-year-old Breeann Rodriguez.

The Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney, Stephen Sokoloff, annouced on Saturday that charges of first degree murder, armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence have been filed against Shawn Morgan, 43, of Senath, Missouri.  According to the Senath police, Morgan is from the neighborhood as Breean Rodriguez's family but is not related. 

Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Conservation and the Dunklin County Major Case Squad are still searching for Breeann Rodriguez’s body and her bicycle in an undisclosed area in Dunklin County. 

Police said that Morgan likely killed Breeann Rodriguez by suffocating her, but the official cause of death cannot be determined until Breeann's body is recovered. 

Breeann Rodriquez was last seen riding her bicycle in front of her home on Ode Johnson Street in Senath, Missouri  on August 6, 2011.
