QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy man is in the Adams County Jail after a traffic stop Friday afternoon led to the finding of methamphetamine.

Kent Humphrey was driving on a suspended license and was unable to provide proof of insurance.

When arrested, police found methamphetamine in his possession. An investigation of his car found numerous items used in the manufacture of meth.

Humphrey faces charges of unlawful possession of meth precursors and less than five grams of meth, aggravated driving under the influence of drugs, driving with a suspended license, operation of an uninsured vehicle and disobeying a traffic control device.

He will face a judge Monday.
