Quincy Park Board approves changes to comprehensive plan

The Quincy Park board addressed the comprehensive plan once again Wednesday night.
QUINCY, ILL. --
The board approved some changes to the plan recommended by its staff.

It also accepted a request from the Mississippi Valley Historic Auto club to buy the land it's building sit on at Quinsippi Island.

The auto club has been told by the park board that they need to move from their current location in 3 years.

There's no word on when or if the the park board will act on that proposal.

The Park board also started the levy process for 2011.

The projected tax will not increase by more than 5%.

Although the actually levy will not be approved until next month, the board is required to give the public at least 20 days notice.
