PALMYRA, MO. -- The Palmyra High School Softball team is the best in the state.

In a rousing win over Pleasant Hope, the Lady Panthers earned its fifth state title Saturday.

They got a hero's welcome home Sunday, bringing back the school's 4th softball title in just six years.

They ended the season with 29 wins ... a school record for total wins in a season.
