PLAINVILLE, ILL. -- Police are seeking suspects in connection with a car theft and possible meth operation in Plainville.

Officers with the West Central Illinois Drug Taskforce and Adams County Sheriff's Department got a warrant to search the Plainville home of 44 year-old Joe Niffen and 41-year old Stacey Werneth Thursday.

That's when investigators located items used to make meth as well as a Chevy Trailblazer stolen from SGL Motors back in September.

Animal Control Officers also removed five pitbulls from the home.

Niffen and Werneth are still on the loose, and face an array of meth and theft charges.

If you have any information on their whereabouts, you're asked to call the Adams County Sheriff's Department or Quincy Regional Crimestoppers at 217-228-4474.
