General fund budget passed by Adams Co. Board

The Adams County Board passed 13.3 million dollar general fund budget Tuesday night.
ADAMS CO., ILL. --
The Quincy Journal reports that the budget is 2.75 % higher than last year.

The county will finish this fiscal year with 1.2 million dollars in reserves and will use that money to take care of a remaining $345,000 dollar deficit.

County employees can expect to get 2 percent raises on average next year.

The new fiscal year starts December 1st.
