LOUISIANA, MO. -- Expect delays on the Champ Clark Bridge at Louisiana, Missouri Thursday.

State workers plan to perform inspections on the two-lane bridge most of the day.

The two-lane bridge will be narrowed to one lane from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The 83-year-old bridge over the Mississippi was damaged by a fatal accident on December 14. Click here for that story.

Crews performed inspections and temporary repairs, but the Missouri Department of Transportation is checking it again to determine the extent of permanent repairs still needed.
