SPRINGFIELD, ILL. -- You might not want to get too used to talking on your cell phone in your car ... especially if you live in Illinois.

Here's your Facebook Story of the Day.

The Illinois Senate President John Cullerton (D) tells the Springfield Journal Register that banning cell phone use in cars may be inevitable.

However, he says it won't happen immediately.

Sen. Cullerton told Chris Wetterich with SJ-R.com, “These are the kinds of things you take incrementally. I’ve kind of gotten away from being the main sponsor. … I think that’s something which I’ll leave to the other senators.”

The National Transportation Safety Board called for a ban Dec. 12 on all cell phone use in vehicles, including with hands-free devices and wireless headsets.

No state has such a ban ... yet.
